Pacquiao vs Margarito

The first time I saw Manny Pacquiao box was against Marco Antonio Barrera (1st fight) where Manny won. From then on, I have not missed a single boxing fight of Manny Pacquiao. He is really amazing and exciting to watch.

In about 24-hours, we are in for another good fight against another Mexican. I cannot wait for the final answer on the 15 million dollar question “who will win  the fight – Pacquiao vs Margarito?”

Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao (51-3, 38 KO‘s), the current pound for pound king,  will bid to cement his legacy in boxing history books by becoming a champion in eight weight classes. He currently holds the record for the most championships with seven weight classes. He is also the record holder for the most lineal championships with four weight classes.

On the other hand, Antonio Margarito (38-6, 27 KO’s) will try to redeem himself after being caught with plaster of paris inserts in his hand wraps before the Mosley fight. Margarito lost that fight to Mosley via knockdown. With that hand wrap incident, Margarito also earned the name “Margacheto”.

One man vying for legacy versus a man vying for redemption.

At the weigh-in today, Pacquiao was 144.6 pounds and Margarito was 150 pounds. See Tale of the tape below.

Despite all of Margarito’s advantages, I believe that Manny will win via knockout on the 10th round.
